New Cricket Wireless Phones Include Cricket Debut And Cricket Dream 5G




Cricket Wireless has released two new smartphones, the Cricket Debut and Cricket Dream 5G. Both devices are too new to have any online reviews. The Dream 5G was only announced last week, and will not be available to purchase in stores until September 24th. However, it is available online now for purchase for $189.99 for switchers, upgrades, and new lines. The Cricket Debut was quietly released with no fanfare. It's available for $79.99 to all customers.


Cricket Dream 5G Specifications


The Cricket Dream 5G is a budget device available in one color only, Electric Blue. The device has the following specifications:

  • 6.82" HD+ screen (720p x 1640p)

  • 2.2GHz MediaTek Octa-Core processor, 2 at 2.2GHz and 6 at 2.0GHz

  • Quad-camera setup: 48MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP Super Macro lens, 2MP Depth lens, plus a 13MP selfie camera

  • 4750 mAh battery

  • 64GB internal storage, expandable to 512GB with a microSD card

  • 4GB RAM

  • Android 11

  • Bluetooth 5.1

The Cricket Dream 5G is also sold under the AT&T Radiant Max 5G name through AT&T Prepaid. It's currently a better value through AT&T Prepaid where it's priced at $89.99. Both Cricket and AT&T Prepaid have similarly priced wireless plans.


Cricket Debut Specifications


The Cricket Debut is a budget device quietly released with no fanfare. It too is available in only one color, Royal Blue. It's an Android 11 Go Edition phone with the following specifications:


  • 5.5" HD+ 720p display

  • 1.8 GHz Quad-core processor, likely MediaTek

  • 8MP main camera with 5MP selfie camera

  • 2500 mAh battery

  • 32GB internal storage expandable to 128GB with a microSD card

  • RAM not specified, but being a Go Edition device it is 2GB or less

  • Bluetooth 5.0

Both the Cricket Dream 5G and Cricket Debut come with Cricket's two-year worry-free warranty.
