Wireless Dealer Group Vendor Verification Grading
WDG Vendor Verification Ratings represent Wireless Dealer Group’s opinion of how a vendor is likely to interact with wireless dealers based on the information WDG is able to review at the time of evaluation. This may include vendor-submitted information, responsiveness during onboarding, and publicly available business data.
WDG seeks and uses information directly from vendors and from public data sources when available. WDG may also consider patterns of dealer-reported issues submitted through WDG channels.
Rating Scale
WDG assigns ratings from A+ (highest) to F (lowest). In some cases, WDG may not rate a vendor (shown as NR for “No Rating”) for reasons that may include insufficient information, inability to verify key details, or an ongoing review/update of the vendor’s profile.
What Impacts a Vendor’s Rating
WDG vendor profiles generally highlight the most significant factors that may raise or lower a vendor’s rating, such as:
-
Verification of business identity and operating presence
-
Clarity of terms (pricing, minimums, returns, chargebacks, SLAs)
-
Responsiveness and professionalism in dealer communications
-
Dispute handling and resolution patterns
-
Transparency around policies and fulfillment expectations
Important Disclaimer
WDG ratings are not a guarantee of a vendor’s reliability, performance, or outcomes. Dealers should consider a vendor’s WDG rating alongside all other available information, including written terms, references, and their own due diligence.
Customer Reviews
Dealer reviews and testimonials may be displayed on vendor profiles, but are not necessarily used to calculate the WDG letter grade rating unless explicitly stated in the vendor’s profile criteria.
If you want, tell me what you do want included in the rating formula (complaints, response time, proof of licensing, refund policy, etc.) and I’ll turn this into a tighter “Ratings Methodology” section with a simple scoring breakdown you can publish.
