HMD Global is currently working on a budget Nokia smartphone.
The device, temporarily called the Nokia TA-1258, reportedly comes with a 5.99-inch HD+ display with a 1440x720p resolution. It will be powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor with 3GB of RAM and a choice between 32 or 64GB onboard storage. A microSD card slot is not yet confirmed.
There is an 8-megapixel camera on the back with 1080p video recording. It also offers a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. HMD Global is said to include a fingerprint scanner on the back and a 3,040mAh battery.
This budget device will be unbox with Android 10 pre-installed and Android One. The Nokia TA-1258 name is not yet final and will be marketed using a different name. It will likely be released this year. The device is said to be the first Nokia phone to launch in China after the Nokia X71 was launched in April 2019.
