Xfinity Mobile Launches New Unlimited Plans Including 50GB For $65 Premium Offering
Xfinity Mobile has updated its plans. There are two new "unlimited" plans available, "Unlimited Plus (30GB)" and "Unlimited Premium (50GB)." They are priced at $55 and $65 respectively, for single lines. Xfinity Mobile's original unlimited plan remains in place and has been renamed "Unlimited Intro" and is still priced at $45 for a single line.

Xfinity Mobile's new unlimited plans both allow video streaming at 720p when connected to Verizon's 4G LTE network. Xfinity Mobile is powered by Verizon's network.
According to each plan's terms and conditions page, when connected to Verizon's 5G network video streaming will be available at the highest resolution possible. Keep in mind, Verizon has two 5G network names, 5G Nationwide, and 5G Ultra-Wideband (UW). The 5G Nationwide network doesn't typically offer data speeds much faster than 4G LTE, so BestMVNO suspects that video streaming at the highest resolution possible will only be available when connected to 5G UW as this is the case with Verizon's own brands.
Unlimited Plus And Unlimited Premium Plan Differences
Unlimited Plus will come with 30GB of high-speed data before throttling and 5GB of hotspot at up to 5G data speeds. Unlimited Premium will include 50GB of high-speed data and 15GB of hotspot at up to 5G data speeds. The Unlimited Premium plan also includes priority data, whereas the Unlimited Plus plan does not. Priority data will allow for faster data speeds when connected to either the 4G LTE or 5G Nationwide network when the network is congested compared to those who don't have priority data. Xfinity Mobile does note that at this time when connected to Verizon's 5G UW network, data usage does not count towards the monthly high-speed data allotment of any unlimited plan.
After the high-speed data thresholds are reached, data speeds are reduced to a maximum of 1.5Mbps download and 750Kbps upload. Xfinity Mobile doesn't say it, but hotspot data should be unlimited after the high-speed threshold is reached with the new plans but at speeds of 600Kbps. Xfinity Mobile's Unlimited Intro plan includes unlimited hotspot at 600Kbps, so it's unlikely the two more premium unlimited plans wouldn't have the feature as well.

Xfinity Mobile is currently offering up to $400 off on select devices including iPhones, Samsung Galaxies, and Google Pixels. The deals will be available until 1/10/23 and do require a 24-month device payment plan agreement. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is free until 12/21.
