Walmart Family Mobile Quietly Increases Data Allotment on Two Plans
In the last few weeks, Walmart Family Mobile quietly made changes to its plans. There were a couple of plan changes that were reported by this website. The changes that were noticed include a higher speed bump on the two plans.
First, there's the $49.88 unlimited plan. As noticed by Mil Hustles, the plan now comes with 30GB of mobile hotspot data. It originally only came with 10GB of mobile hotspot data, so this is definitely a welcomed change. The plan continues to include unlimited talk, text, and unlimited high-speed data.
The other change was noticed by Dennis Bournique on the $39.88 plan. He noticed that the plan actually got a higher-speed data bump in mid September. The plan originally came with 14GB of high-speed data. But now, the plan offers 20GB of high-speed data. Unfortunately, its mobile hotspot was downgraded to just 10GB.
With these changes in effect, the T-Mobile MVNO now offers these plans:
$24.88 per month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text and 2GB of high-speed data
$29.88 per month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text and 5GB of high-speed data
$39.88 per month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 20GB of high-speed data (10GB for mobile hotspot)
$49.88 per month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, unlimited high-speed data, 30GB mobile hotspot
