Visible Has Launched A New Holiday Themed TV Commercial And Promo

Visible has launched a new TV commercial with a holiday season theme. Like some of the other more recent commercials from Visible, it touts Visible's take on group discount rates through the use of Party Pay. It also mentions a $200 gift card offer for switchers. Visible's Party Pay gives subscribers the opportunity to join groups of other subscribers so that they can get a discount on their service.

Visible offers a single wireless plan that is unlimited and priced at $40/month for those that are not in a Party Pay group. For those in a Party Pay group with four or more members, the price of the plan drops down to $25/month. Visible makes it super easy for its prospective customers to find and join a Party. In fact, Visible has set up an online forum on its website that is dedicated to helping subscribers find a group to join.

Visible's TV Commercial "No Family, No Drama"

Visible's new TV commercial is called "No Family, No Drama." It starts off with a woman who looks into the camera and states to the audience "wireless family plans save you money, but then you have to deal with family." The woman appears perturbed as she prepares to enter a house where children are outside throwing snowballs at each other, some hitting her. She enters the house where she is greeted by a family member who asks "Chloe, still single dear?" Chloe turns to the camera again and says "So I got Visible. Team up with friends and get unlimited data for as low as $25/month.

Visible has also updated its website homepage to feature the tagline "family plan savings without the family drama." It includes a callout of "get unlimited data for as low as $25/month" and mentions the $200 virtual gift card offer. The Visible website has also been updated to include a "family photo" featuring the woman who stars in the commercial. Visible is offering a $200 virtual gift card to customers that port-in and it can be used just about anywhere. The switcher promo does have quite a bit of fine print associated with it, so let's take a closer look at it.

Visible's $200 Virtual Gift Card Fine Print Offer

For starters, the $200 virtual gift card offer is only available to customers that purchase select phones from Visible and switch from an eligible carrier. Currently, the following devices are eligible for the $200 gift card offer:

  • Google Pixel 6 - $600, also comes with Google Pixel Buds

  • Google Pixel 6 Pro - $888, also comes with Google Pixel Buds

  • Apple iPhone 13 Pro - $984

  • Apple iPhone 13 Max - $1080

  • Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G - $984

Customers that port-in and do not purchase a phone will receive a $50 gift card instead. Customers who purchase other devices that are not listed above can still receive up to a $100 gift card. In any case, subscribers must stay active with Visible and complete three full months of service payments to be eligible to receive the gift card. The gift card will be redeemable through a promotion code.

The offer is only available to customers that port-in from one of the following providers:

  • AT&T

  • AT&T Prepaid

  • Boost Mobile

  • Consumer Cellular

  • Cricket Wireless

  • Google Fi

  • MetroPCS

  • Mint Mobile

  • Net10 Wireless

  • Page Plus Cellular

  • Republic Wireless

  • Spectrum Mobile

  • Sprint

  • Straight Talk

  • T-Mobile

  • T-Mobile Prepaid

  • Ting

  • Total Wireless

  • TracFone

  • US Cellular

  • Verizon

  • Virgin Mobile USA

  • Walmart Family Mobile

  • Xfinity Mobile

Visible has not mentioned how long the $200 switcher promo offer will be available. However, they do regularly offer lower denomination virtual gift cards to switchers.

In October, BestMVNO reported that Visible was impacted by a security breach. It is unknown exactly how many customers were impacted by the breach, but it resulted in hackers being able to take over the accounts of some customers allowing them to order devices on the customers' dime. Whether or not the breach will affect Visible's 4th quarter efforts remains to be seen. However, good promos and advertising efforts may help to offset the negative press they received due to the breach.
