The port-out process for Airvoice Wireless allows customers to keep their existing phone number when switching to another carrier. It involves verifying the customer’s account information and ensuring the account is active before the transfer can take place. This process is designed to protect the customer’s privacy and prevent unauthorized transfers. Once approved by both carriers, the number transfer is usually completed quickly and seamlessly, minimizing any disruption in service.
🔹 1. Gather Required Info
To port your Airvoice Wireless number to another carrier, you’ll need:
Account Number:
Found by logging in to your Airvoice Wireless account at airvoicewireless.com, or
Call Airvoice Customer Care at 1-888-944-2355 and ask for your account number.Port-Out PIN (Account PIN):
Contact Airvoice Wireless at 1-888-944-2355 and request your Port-Out PIN or Account Security PIN.
This PIN authorizes the release of your number to another carrier.Billing ZIP Code:
Use the ZIP code associated with your Airvoice Wireless account.
🔹 2. Keep the Account Active
Your Airvoice Wireless line must remain active for the port to succeed.
Do not cancel service before the port is completed — once the number transfers, Airvoice will automatically close the account.
🔹 3. Give Info to the New Carrier
Provide your new carrier with:
Airvoice account number
Port-Out PIN
Billing ZIP Code
The new carrier will handle the port request on your behalf.
🔹 4. Wait for Completion
Wireless-to-wireless ports typically complete within minutes to a few hours.
Landline or VoIP ports may take up to 1–3 business days.
Service may temporarily disconnect during the transfer window.
Once complete, your Airvoice account automatically closes.
🔹 5. Confirm and Stop Auto-Pay
After the port completes:
Log in to your Airvoice Wireless account or call 1-888-944-2355 to confirm closure.
Disable AutoPay if it’s still active to avoid further billing.
