What's the difference between Calls per Hour and Team Calls per Hour?
Calls per Hour is each rep's own rate. Team Calls per Hour is volume-weighted — total team calls divided by total team hours. A high performer working fewer hours can pull the simple average up while barely moving the volume-weighted number, so we show both.
Why does the tool show an average AND a volume-weighted team rate?
The unweighted average treats every employee equally regardless of hours worked. The volume-weighted team rate reflects actual call volume against actual hours logged, which is what your phone traffic and staffing really depend on. Watching both catches reps skewing the average with part-time hours.
What should count as 'talk-time' minutes?
Use actual connected call duration from your phone system or dialer report, not scheduled shift time. If your system reports talk-time in hours or seconds, convert to minutes before entering it here so utilization percent calculates correctly.
