Verizon Prepaid Offering 4000mAh Smartphone for $70

Last week, it was revealed that HMD Global would be offering a couple of its new Nokia smartphone models to exclusive carriers. One of those devices, the Nokia 2.1 has landed on U.S. shores and is now available on Verizon Prepaidas the Nokia 2 V.

Considering it's an Android Oreo Go phone, the Nokia 2 V comes as a low-cost device with a basic spec list. It includes a 5.5-inch HD display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage.

The Nokia 2 V has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Surprisingly, its 4,000mAh battery is on a par with high-end devices and can last up to two days on standby. Available colors include blue and silver.

Right now, the device can be purchased on Verizon Prepaid for $70. Once you purchase the device, you can pair it up with one of Verizon Prepaid's existing plans:
 

  • $30 per month plan - includes unlimited U.S. talk and text, unlimited text to over 200 international destinations and 500MB of high speed data

  • $40 per month plan - includes unlimited U.S. talk and text, unlimited text to over 200 international destinations and 3GB of high speed data

  • $50 per month plan - includes unlimited U.S. talk and text, unlimited text to over 200 international destinations and 8GB high speed data + 7GB of bonus data
