T-Mobile announced on October 8, 2018 that its prepaid brand Metro PCS officially becomes Metro by T-Mobile. The rebrandedprepaid operator Metro by T-Mobile launched new plans featuring Amazon Prime and Google One. The cost of new plans stays exactly the same as old MetroPCS plans, with addition of doubled LTE data from 5GB to 10GB on $40 and addition of 100GB on Google One storage for $50 and $60 plan and Amazon Prime for $60 plan.

So now plans of the rebranded Metro by T-Mobile looks like this:
$30 Unlimited plan – Unlimited talk, text and data with first 2GB at LTE speed. Mobile hotspot data from LTE data
$40 Unlimited Plan – Unlimited talk, text and data with first 10GB at LTE speed (was 5 GB). Mobile hotspot is not available. Music Unlimited included. Save $10 for each additional line
$50 Unlimited plan – unlimited talk, text and 4G LTE data with optimized video streaming at up to 480p, 5GB of Mobile hotspot data and 100GB of Google One storage included. Save $20 for each additional line.
$60 Unlimited plan – unlimited talk, text and 4G LTE un-throttled data with HD video streaming, 15GB of Mobile hotspot data, 100GB of Google One storage and Amazon Prime included. Save $30 for each additional line.
Metro by T-Mobile Promotions
Beside new plans, Metro by T-Mobile offers few promotions for new users who switch to their service. The new users can get new Apple iPhone SE for free or choose between 3 great Androids Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime, LG Aristo 2 or Moto E5 Play. In order to receive free phone from Metro by T-Mobile, new customers need to port-in their number and activate it on $50 or $60 Unlimited Plan. Cost of activation is $15 per line.
