Walmart Family Mobile has increased the amount of high speed data included with its $39.88 plan from 6 GB to 9 GB. The $49.88 plan now has "unlimited" high speed data, instead of 15 GB.
Unlimited high speed data plans typically have a deprioritization point of between 20 and GB. After that much data is used speeds will be slowed when the network is congested. However, Family Mobile has not disclosed what the deprioritization threshold is on its unlimited plan.
This is the third data increase from Family Mobile in the last five months. Walmart Family Mobile is a TracFone operated MVNO that uses the T-Mobile network and is sold only at Walmart stores.
