Ting Scores Partnership Deal with Apple

May 22, 2017

MVNO Ting has scored a partnership with Apple, and will begin selling all of the latest iPhones on their website.

Ting will also begin offering AppleCare protection for the devices, and procure certified used iPhone handsets directly from Apple. All of the iPhones will be eligible for 24-month financing.

"It's a pretty cool endorsement from Apple, since there are very few providers, beyond national and regional network operators, that have direct deals," said Michael Goldstein, vice president of sales and marketing at Ting. "Customers can get the savings and support they love from us and all the phones they have historically had to get from the major carriers,"

The deal also means that Ting will be selling the upcoming iPhone 8 as soon as its ready for preorder.

Ting celebrated its fifth year in business back in February. The carrier offers "pay only for what you use" type plans and runs on T-Mobile's and Sprint's networks. To see how coverage is for these two networks at your address, use WhistleOut's new coverage check feature.................
