Updated: Information on the 90-day period for the 2GB data.
Since its launch, AirVoice Wireless has maintained the same plan options it offered. But it looks like the AT&T MVNO is ready to welcome new changes as it updated two of its plan options by adding more data to it. With the new changes. AirVoice Wireless' plans look like this:
$5 for 5 days plan - Includes 25 MB of data (no change)
$20 per month plan - Now includes 1GB of 4G LTE data (previously 100MB)
$30 per month plan - Now includes 4GB of 4G LTE data (previously 1GB)
$50 per month plan - Includes 5GB of data (no change)
Each plan comes with unlimited talk and text and international text to 80 countries. The $30 and $50 per month plan also comes with international calling. Taxes and fees are not included.
Along with its announcement, AirVoice Wireless is offering a temporary promotion for the $20 per month plan. For a limited time period, you can enjoy an extra 1GB of data on top of the data allotment in the plan. This means that you can get 2GB of data for the price of one. On Howard Forums, the 2GB data promotion is listed to be available for 90 days. After that period, the data will go back to 1GB per month.
It's important to note, however, that AirVoice's data has a unique setup. The data allotment comes in two parts-- one half is high speed, the other half is throttled speeds. This means that under the $20 per month plan, you get 1GB at high speed and another 1GB at low speed. After the 90-day period, you get 500MB at high speed, and the other 500MB at low speed. The same setup is applied with the $30 per month plan: 2GB at high speed and 2GB at low speed.
If you are interested in getting one of these plans, it is best to read their terms of service for more clarity.
