Verizon has extended the time it takes for users to to activate their 3G devices on prepaid. The report comes from a tweet by a Verizon Prepaid master dealer and shared on HowardForums. According to the tweet, Verizon has extended the time frame until April 30, 2019. On HowardForums, users pointed out that Verizon could be preparing to drop CDMA before the year ends. And considering there are plenty of customer complaints regarding VoLTE reliability, this could very well be the case. The new extension may apply to Verizon MVNOs as well.
